Quantum Optics

In partnership with QuEra Computing and the Quantum Science Center, the NanoML team applies statistical deep learning and optimization for engineering single photon emitters and neutral atoms.

Machine Learning

Physics-inspired AI continues to revolutionize experimental physics by taking faster measurements, finding better device designs, and discovering new physics through statistical inference.

Birck Nanotechnology

The NanoML team is located at Birck Nanotechnology Center, the second-largest university clean room in the U.S.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I collaborate with the NanoML Team?

We consider collaborations on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to Blake or Sasha at [email protected] and [email protected] with a CV and proposal to discuss collaborations.

I’m an undergraduate student, how can I start doing research?

Repeat an experiment from literature! Then improve on it in some way. and prove the improvement. That’s it! Easier said than done.

Do you sponsor students for REU’s and SURF?

We regularly post openings for REU’s and SURF. Reach out for more information.

Do you post open-source?

We do! All of our open-source software is available on our Github under the MIT license.
